Have started to read this book as an introduction to the course. Not on the reading list but seems to be covering everything on the course so far. Just finished chapter 1 - The Age of Discovery covering the period 40,000BC to AD1450. Has an extensive Spotify playlist
Now starting chapter 2 - The Age of Penitence covering AD1450 to 1650.
